Welcome on board Mersea – a unique custom built sailing yacht, inspired by traditional Indonesian phinisi with a modern designer approach. The name Mersea is a play on words, combining French "merci" for "thank you" and English "sea".
Striking exterior in white color is perfectly matched by beautifully executed teak upper deck, ultra comfortable spacious cabins and pieces of contemporary art decorating the yacht throughout. Hospitable crew are happy to assist with all guests' needs and the chef's mission is to make the dining experiences memorable.
There are four bright and very spacious air-conditioned suites on board Mersea with two of them being master cabins, one located on the upper deck, one in the main and one being on the lower. Each room boasts a comfortable king-size bed with quality white linen, large windows throughout and luxurious in-suite marble bathroom, creating the experience of a 5 star hotel on the sea.
Meals are usually served at the spacious wooden upper deck with a large teak table, custom built by Flores carpenters and comfortably accommodating 8 people. There is plenty of space for sunbathing at the nose of the yacht as well as comfortable seating area, perfect to relax and let yourself be absorbed by the wilderness and pure untouched beauty of surrounding nature.
Dining is another experience on board Mersea to not be forgotten. The menu could be fully customised according to the tastes and expectations of the guests, containing beautiful fresh fish and seafood from Flores, local spices, fresh fruit and vegetables, prepared using local and Western techniques. Our guests as well enjoy the fully loaded bar with broad selection of quality wines and spirits (to be ordered on demand prior to the charter).
